This is what happens when one starts not with things he should start with.
Hello, Zom.

Your answer is a bit vague. Can you please clarify?

I've been listening to Ayya Khema lately. She advises to practice insight after (sutta) jhana. She lays out the insights that one can gain in post jhana contemplation, and says that this can actually lead to path and fruit. I presume this makes insight meditation less unpleasant (when it comes to the dhukkha insight knowledges), than they are with dry Vipassana.

Is this basically what you're trying to say, or did I guess wrong?

Anjali
"He turns his mind away from those phenomena and, having done so, inclines his mind to the property of deathlessness: 'This is peace, this is exquisite — the resolution of all fabrications; the relinquishment of all acquisitions; the ending of craving; dispassion; cessation; Unbinding.' " - Jhana Sutta

Might I ask what method you are using? And do you have the support of a sangha?
Mahasi method

Apologies for delay - started in a new post and have had little time to do much but settle in really!
