To study is to know the texts,
To practice is to know your defilements,
To attain the goal is to know and let go.

With no struggling, no thinking,
the mind, still,
will see cause and effect
vanishing in the Void.
Attached to nothing, letting go:
Know that this is the way
to allay all stress.

Or if you didn't want it to be that long, you could have the threefold summary written:

See:

There is no script for Pali, it is written in various language scripts. I would go with Devenagiri-Hindi. It looks pretty cool and similar to Brahmi.

Re: translation of Noble Eightfold Path
oh, that would explain a lot. Would you happen to know how to accurately translate "right intention" to Devanāgarī? Thanks, David.

My Devanagiri is not that good, so I used a transliteration tool:

Good that there is Unicode these days

Suffering is asking from life what it can never give you.
If you see any unskillful speech (or other action) from me let me know, so I can learn from it.mindfulness, bliss and beyond (page 8) wrote:Do not linger on the past. Do not keep carrying around coffins full of dead moments

Oh, I believe that's wrong. I'm pretty sure the word is "sammā", what you've got there is "samma", which should be this: सम्माDavid N. Snyder wrote:My Devanagiri is not that good, so I used a transliteration tool:

In either case I hope that fellow makes well sure that what he's getting tatooed on himself is correct.

सम्मासङ्कप्प
On my computer I see here the s (स) and the ṅ (ङ्) are separate, and the ṅ and the k (क्) combine (ङ्क) as one would expect.
