Venerable Dhammanando is feeling unwell at the moment with a recurrence of malaria and we expect that he will be offline for a few days as a result.

Please join me in wishing bhante a speedy recovery.

Metta,
Retro. :)
Malaria?!?

Does he need bugspray (from mosquitoes) and is he seeing a doctor? If you are capable of getting into contact with him, tell him he NEEDS to rest!!

Get well soon, Dhammanando!!! The world needs people like you!

I bet he's just bunked off for a facial and a manicure!

Bhante, please return to good health speedily and completely.

My Italian grandfather had recurring bouts of malaria.... It's actually really unpleasant.

Hope all will be good with you soon..... :namaste:

Bhante, I hope you will get well soon.

May you be free from physical sufferings.
May you be free from mental sufferings.
May you be healthy and happy.

The temple that Bhante lives in do not kill mosquitos, that's why there's malaria is it? Can they do anything about it?

Anyone who knows Bhante personally, please update us on Bhante's health situation. Thank you! :namaste:

Dear Venerable,
get better soon.
My grandfather has recurrences from Malaria, too, from time to time and I know it is quite unpleasant.

The people from here knowing him for some time now, I suppose the Venerable has sufficient supporters to have access to a doctor and/or medicine?
I am sure he has, but just to make sure...

Greetings everyone,

The latest update we've received about bhante...
Just a short report on my visit to Phra Robert (as I've called him for almost
twenty years). His malaria has subsided but another problem has emerged. His
right foot is swollen and feverishly infected, rendering him bed-ridden. Thus he
remains in the hospital under observation. Doctors have conducted various tests but no results yet. He will contact me by phone when he knows and I will pass on the information.
Metta,

May he recover quickly.

Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
