HAPPY BIRTHDAY FEDE!

Post by Ben »

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FEDE!

For our magnificent friend Fede who was given the gift of a grandson only a few days ago.

Wishing you a happy day on your birthday and many many happy days to come.

Lots of metta

Ben
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”

Happ B Day Fede! !

:anjali:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

happy Birthday
Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

Woo-hoo! Thank you guys!!
I received a Birthday-cum-Easter card from a friend....

"Here comes the Easter bunny
His basket full of eggs,
And if the one for you's not there,
I'll break his ruddy legs!"

Which amused me......

However you spend it, and with whom, enjoy your Easter Sunday, everyone.

Bless you Ben.

'Magnificent'....? You should see me at 6.30am whilst I'm ironing.....

well, it's been quiet, and I've been doing what I felt like doing. which was a whole load of not a great deal.
Easter bunny bought some eggies, so his legs remained intact (!) and I got taken out to dinner this evening, which was cool....!

All in all, not a bad day.
On the 14th of this month, I hold my very first evening cookery class at work - we advised all clients on our mailing list, by email just a few days ago - and are now fully booked!
Then the following morning, I travel to France to see my wonderful new little Grandson!
When I return, I will have to submit my case notes to the Dog Psychology centre for accreditation - So life is definitely full!
I think I should be getting younger every day!
