Hello,

Please kindly help me how to decode the meaning of various components of icons in posts.
I 've tried searching thr faq, but can't find the meaning of most icon parts.

A lot more profound and elusive than anatta.

I've never used DW on a desktop or laptop. I only use it on phone and tablet which, unfortunately, dosen't grab hovering action. Or, as you pointed out, may be I should try hovering my finger over the icons while the phone and my finger are immersed in water, it's water-resistant, they say.

Horizontal lines = normal topic.
Fire = "hot topic" with a flurry of activity
i = pinned announcement (i.e. information)
Star = a topic you've participated in
Red = there's something in the topic you've not read yet
Paperclip = contains attachment(s)
Red piece of paper = a link straight through to the oldest unread post
Arrow pointing up/left = the topic has been moved to a different section
Exclamation mark = a "sticky" topic, stuck to the top of the list regardless of time/date
Lock = locked (closed) topic
