I think this is a good lesson in the 4th precept for the liberal media :)
susukhaṁ vata nibbānaṁ,
sammāsambuddhadesitaṁ;
asokaṁ virajaṁ khemaṁ,
yattha dukkhaṁ nirujjhatī

Oh! extinction is so very blissful,
As taught by the One Rightly Self-Awakened:
Sorrowless, stainless, secure;
Where suffering all ceases

etaṁ santaṁ etaṁ paṇītaṁ yadidaṁ sabbasaṅkhārasamatho sabbūpadhipaṭi nissaggo taṇhakkhayo virāgo nirodho nibbānaṁ

This is peaceful, this is excellent, that is: the stilling of all preparations, the relinquishment of all attachments, the destruction of craving, detachment, cessation, extinction.

Isn't it ironic given the amount of false facts Trump tweets and speaks of?

While I care very little for politics seeing as the lives of the common man *usually* change little no matter who is in power, I absolutely love your
"Le Mis" reference. Kudos.

that ^, and being responsible for killing and threatening the lives of other beings. while it would be irrational to say trump is much worse than obama in either regard, the fact remains. the only president that maybe didnt have anyone killed is jimmy carter

Because he's great...
Do you really believe this? Or, is it a sarcasm?
(Or, maybe English not being my native language I am missing some nuances of the word "great" here in this context. I thought saying someone is great means he is an excellent person in general.)

I think you almost have solve the puzzle....so I'll just fill in the last piece. In england they used to have what were called "great horses".....they were really big horses....the breed was called "destrier" I think....there may have been other breeds referred to as "great horses" but I'm not sure.

Anyway....I think without a doubt it is correct to say that trump is great but mostly just in the sense that he is a great horses ass.....or given that in his latest physical exam it was revealed (as if) that he is way over weight and perhaps obese it can be said that he is a great horses fat ass.

And apparently there is verified news via the BBC http://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-42739556 that said posterior was subject to the ministrations of one "Stormy Daniels," porn star, in 2006. There was allegedly a copy of Forbes magazine involved.... :rofl:

She was paid $130,000 to keep quiet just prior to the election in 2016.

Seriously, you couldn't make this stuff up.

Well, actually, that's precisely how Fake News works.

If people didn't make things up, there'd be no Fake News... and no Fake News Awards!

Yes, of course. But I'm thinking more along the lines of the description of Trump"s version of Fake News as his collection of some of the biggest journalistic errors of the past year. Versus, say, your average tabloid headline, which is obviously wildly exaggerated, bizarre, or completely fabricated with little or no connections to reality. Some examples here (adult content) https://www.buzzfeed.com/lukelewis/wtf- ... .lkb4r8gX2.

Fake but possibly believable versus fake but unbelievable.

The spanking-with-a-Forbes-magazine story is almost too crazy to be true. And yet.
