"Rocky terrestrial planets, perhaps like Earth, or Venus, appear to be forming or to have recently formed around a star in the Pleiades star cluster, astronomers using the Gemini Observatory in Hawaii and the Spitzer Space Telescope report. The planets appear to be the result of "monster collisions" of planets or planetary embryos."

http://www.dailygalaxy.com/my_weblog/20 ... iades.html

"In Bronze Age Europe, the Celts and others associated the Pleiades with mourning and funerals because the cluster rose in the eastern night sky between the autumnal equinox and the winter solstice, which was a festival devoted to the remembrance of the dead. The ancient Aztecs of Mexico and Central America based their calendar on the Pleiades."

The Celts are renowned knife men:

"The sgian-dubh (/ˌskiːən ˈduː/ skee-ən-DOO; Scottish Gaelic pronunciation: [s̪kʲɪnˈt̪uh]) is a small, single-edged knife (Scottish Gaelic: sgian) worn as part of traditional Scottish Highland dress along with the kilt. Originally used for eating and preparing fruit, meat, and cutting bread and cheese, as well as serving for other more general day-to-day uses such as cutting material and protection, it is now worn as part of traditional Scottish dress tucked into the top of the kilt hose with only the upper portion of the hilt visible. The sgian-dubh is normally worn on the same side as the dominant hand."

As are the Aztecs:

"Before and during the killing, priests and audience, gathered in the plaza below, stabbed, pierced and bled themselves as auto-sacrifice"

I have Celtic blood myself and as a teenager spent many hours mapping the Pleiades as an amateur astronomer; it was something of an obsession. Pining for home?

Anagami in this current life. One of the skills I knew how to chose rebirths in my prior abode.
Jeez! You must be the master of the universe or something similar...at least the master of the excrata taurasene star cluster.
And.....like you....."I have come to the realization that Art is my main work."

anagami is not some unattainable state.

I think Ren's meaning is that in his prior abode, one of his skills was knowing how to choose subsequent rebirths. (...)
indeed. It was a skill that was common enough in that abode.

Ancient celts may have one of the most accurate perceptions of the Pleaides and its inhabitants.

I doubt that they have any perceptions at all since they are all dead.

I trust you are, at some level, aware of how crazy this topic sounds?
"Does Master Gotama have any position at all?"

"A 'position,' Vaccha, is something that a Tathagata has done away with. What a Tathagata sees is this: 'Such is form, such its origination, such its disappearance; such is feeling, such its origination, such its disappearance; such is perception...such are fabrications...such is consciousness, such its origination, such its disappearance.'" - Aggi-Vacchagotta Sutta

'Dust thou art, and unto dust thou shalt return.' - Genesis 3:19

'Some fart freely, some try to hide and silence it. Which one is correct?' - Saegnapha

the person in this story claims to have contacted beings in pleiades
Born, become, arisen – made, prepared, short-lived
Bonded by decay and death – a nest for sickness, perishable
Produced by seeking nutriment – not fit to take delight in

Departure from this is peaceful – beyond reasoning and enduring
Unborn, unarisen – free from sorrow and stain
Ceasing of all factors of suffering – stilling of all preparations is bliss

it is unattainable.

When you say you are anagami, then you should also tell dharma what ends suffering. Because the very sentence has mark of self,so everyone else who is not you needs go through you since you ate the only apple there is.
