I am growing more interested in Buddhism, and I am a forum junkie, so here I am. I have a Christian background, but one not too strong. I am attracted to Buddhism for peace of mind. Right now I am simply focusing on practicing meditation (learning from Mindfulness in Plain English), but I also ordered some books on Buddha, and the history of Buddhism (Old Path White Clouds, The Heart of Buddha's Teachings, and Gesture of Balance) to learn as much as I can.
I love reading, and I am a writer lacking an agent and published book.
Glad to be here!

Re: Hey from TN
Thanks zavk.
If by cultivate, you mean I bought one at Walmart, can't remember the last time I gave it water (I should probably do that right now), and generally leave it alone, then yes I do cultivate bonsai.
