Ajahn Naniko: Monasticism, Lifestyle, Buddhism
Question and answer with Ajahn Naniko, a monk in the Thai forest tradition of Ajahn Chah. The interview is shot in the mountainous area of Abhayagiri Buddhist Monastery in California. Here, Venerable Naniko talks about life at the monastery and shares his views in response to some common beliefs about monastic life.

It is a very good Dhamma discussion. I like the clarity of speech of Ahahn Naniko.
I wonder why he said monastery is a place of people who follow eight precepts (counter 0.50) not mentioning that monks are expect to follow ten precepts. I think it is important monk clarify this to lay people. I learned about this only by after joining Dhamma Wheel.

In counter 26.00 he brings a very contentious issue of charging money to teach Dhamma. I like his balanced view on this topic.
