An old school trance classic from 1993. Still sounds fresh today.

ASATO MA

Om asato ma sat gamaya,
Tamaso ma jyotir gamaya,
Mrityor ma amritam gamaya

The absence of truth leads to the truth.
The darkness lead me to light.
The death lead me to immortality.

Music for a lazy Sunday....
"If beings knew, as I know, the results of giving & sharing, they would not eat without having given, nor would the stain of miserliness overcome their minds. Even if it were their last bite, their last mouthful, they would not eat without having shared."

Blank & Jones - Twilight (Chill & Grill Mix)

The American Dollar - Anything You Synthesize
  • "And how is it, bhikkhus, that by protecting oneself one protects others? By the pursuit, development, and cultivation of the four establishments of mindfulness. It is in such a way that by protecting oneself one protects others.

"And how is it, bhikkhus, that by protecting others one protects oneself? By patience, harmlessness, goodwill, and sympathy. It is in such a way that by protecting others one protects oneself.

With the first video the words "For the wonder of being alive" went through my head as I viewed some of the remarkable shots. I thought of how Buddhist masters in all traditions seem to be able to appreciate completely the world without being overly attached to circumstances and things.

In the second video, I found myself thinking about how a few notes played, repeated, and slightly altered and repeated again can be so satisfying and relaxing. Thanks, Dave!

Cowboy Bebop is spokey-dokey...
