its only Absurd if it fails with everyone, and there is a being (an Arahant) my money is on it not failing with.

If what you mean is that the Pythons were a troupe of enlightened beings, I concur.

Enlightened ?
Half the time they werent even funny ! Some of their shows were recently screened by the BBC on one of its subsidary channels. For every memorable sketch there were about four that were deadly dull and dated. I would expect a troupe of Enlightened people to be a little more consistant.. Plus, if John Cleese was Enlightened, what happened to turn him into a bore ? NO no no...

Guess I should have inserted one of those silly little yellow people. I didn't think anyone would take that too seriously...

Heh, yesterday I was thinking of posting something about how I'd never met a Buddhist who wasn't into Monty Python.
Guess I spoke or well - thought too soon.

John Cleese is Buddhist.
He narrated "The Tibetan book of living & Dying" for the blind, too.....

Just thought I'd mention it...... :juggling:
"Samsara: The human condition's heartbreaking inability to sustain contentment." Elizabeth Gilbert, 'Eat, Pray, Love'.

Simplify: 17 into 1 WILL go: Mindfulness!

An Enlightened Buddhist Fede ?

Anyway other than Fawlty, he is still a bore, Buddhist or no.

Oh I never meant that he wasn't boring..... I just thought it was an irony that he's Buddhist.
The old either become eccentric, or old farts.

I fully intend to fall into the former category, should I reach that point, even..... :woohoo:

the question is if there are any rational people out there? also included in the op is the word sane!

obviously there are many non-rational people here, which is evident from the BLASPHEMING on this thread!!!
you should all bow down and pray to the holy handgranade that the Beast of Caerbannog does not get you, that the Black night is mercyfull and does not chew your anchles, and have a shrubery ready so that the knignts who say Ekke Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptang Zoo Boing Zow Zing (Formally the knights who say Ni) allow you safe passage.
alternatively Pray that the saviour who comes with a 9 bladed sword does not smite you in their Holy Name!
so take communion of the Waffer Thin Mint and REPENT!

but now it is time for something completely different!
