Fearless Mountain film

Post by Dhammakid »

Hello all,
Has anyone else seen it? I've watched it several times since it arrived in the mail and I like it a lot. I think it's a great peek into monastic life. I especially like the portion on the ordination of the young Todd.

Let me know what you thought of it.

Blog, Suttas, Aj Chah, Facebook.

He who knows only his own side of the case knows little of that. His reasons may be good, and no one may have been able to refute them.
But if he is equally unable to refute the reasons on the opposite side, if he does not so much as know what they are, he has no ground for preferring either opinion …
...
He must be able to hear them from persons who actually believe them … he must know them in their most plausible and persuasive form.

Here's a couple sneek peeks courtesy of YouTube:

Here's the main website: http://www.fearlessmountainfilm.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I don't believe the full film is available online, so I ordered my copy through mail.

Eh, I guess no one else has seen it. It's not a very interesting topic of discussion anyway. But if anyone gets the dvd and views it, let me know what you think.
