To study is to know the texts,
To practice is to know your defilements,
To attain the goal is to know and let go.

- Ajahn Lee Dhammadharo

The non-doing of any evil,
the performance of what’s skillful,
the cleansing of ones own mind:
this is the teaching of the Awakened.

Not all bhikkhus, Ryan, not all!

Everyday, I am blowing my mind due to happiness and freedom that I enjoy being a bhikkhu. So, why should I envy anyone else - male or female - experiencing the same?

However, a big welcome to you. World needs free-living souls :)

EDIT: Most of us looking for a Nibbana in some other country -- then & there rather than here & now. But you do it at your home. Some might learn few things, if you can say something about it. :)
I'll restart my yearlong meditation retreat on 15th June 2014, hence will not be here.

"Bhikkhus, there are these three things that shine when exposed, not when concealed. What three? (1) The moon. (2) The sun. (3) The Dhamma and discipline proclaimed by the Tathagata."
- Anguttara Nikaya, 3.131, Paticchanna Sutta

"Silence is the language of God; all else is poor translation."
– Rumi
