Hello Buddha Buddies.

Post by AJungianIdeal »

Hello, I probably should've introduced myself before I started posting...

I'm a 22 yr old Texan, born Christian of course and still fond enough of it. I had struggles of faith and recurrent depression and death anxiety and now I'm investigating Buddhism because it seems to allow simplicity and complexity at the same time, and shamefully enough, is less "challenged"

I was introduced to Buddhism on another forum in a very thoughtful thread, and decided to join more specialized discussion avenues.

I'm fond of Psychology as my name implies and am confilicitngly skeptical and filled with a yearning for "something more" than shear materialism.

Welcome! I hope you find your time here helpful!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.

Welcome from a fellow Texan!!!

:anjali:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.
