Hi!

Post by Feathers »

Hi! I've been lurking for a while, thought I'd finally say hello

I've been reading up on Buddhism for over a year, and trying to meditate. More recently I picked up metta, which I like. I'm not very disciplined though, and I have issues with focus (exacerbated by medical issues/medication), so my progress is painfully slow. I am hoping to visit a monastery sometime this year for a short stay and see if I can't kickstart my practice. In the mean time I'm working out of books for my instructions.

I'm grateful for this forum being here, I've learned a lot by browsing.

Hello everyone, nice to meet you all
