Welcome m12_shakes!

:anjali:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

Welcome to Dhamma Wheel!

Nice avatar! Is that a pawn seeing himself as a king? Or just an interest in chess?

Thank you all for the warm welcome

David, to answer your question, it's both! The pawn has the capability to be the most powerful piece on the board (i.e namely the queen) and I do LOVE chess :geek:

Greetings m12,

Welcome to the forum.

:buddha1:

(another keen chess player here, though I'm not an 'active' player just now, and I bow to David's mastery of the sport...)
