Hello folks!

Postby thecannonball » Fri Mar 23, 2012 5:02 pm

Hi everybody,

New to the forums and new to the practice of Buddhism in general. I have been semi-interested in Buddhism for quite some time but I'm only really diving in now at almost 30 years of age. I perused a few different forums before joining here but this seemed like the place to be! I'm sure I'm going to have plenty of questions and look forward to some interesting discussions. Hope you're all doing well.

Welcome Cannonball!

To study is to know the texts,
To practice is to know your defilements,
To attain the goal is to know and let go.

Welcome!
To avoid all evil, to cultivate good, and to cleanse one's mind — this is the teaching of the Buddhas.
