Looking for a pdf of "Satipatthana" book by Ven Analayo

Post by James the Giant »

Does anyone know if this book is available as a pdf or ebook?
I've done a search but only have a tiny phone to access the internet on, so my search was pretty basic.
Thanks for the help!

EDIT: Found! Thankyou to SamKR for the link. It is at http://www.budaedu.org/ebooks/6-EN.php

Searched for it, but it is only available in a paid-for form.

Thank you for searching for me. I went to the library and used their internet and had a good search too, but it seems there's no electronic edition available yet.

I'm happy to pay full price, but I just don't want another paper book to lug around on my travels.

It doesn't weigh much James and it is well worth it.

Out of my beloved library of Dhamma books, If I could only take one with me, it just might be this one.

:anjali:
Liberation is the inevitable fruit of the path and is bound to blossom forth when there is steady and persistent practice. The only requirements for reaching the final goal are two: to start and to continue. If these requirements are met there is no doubt the goal will be attained. This is the Dhamma, the undeviating law.

I've now had four recommendations for this book, including one from the abbot of the monastery. .. I saw him walking around with it the other day.
So I've ordered a copy. Cheers for the recommendation.

Thanks James for starting this thread. I wasn't aware of this book before it :anjali:

Sorry for dredging up an old thread, but recently here on DhammaWheel I saw someone link to a site where Ven Anālayo's book "Satipaṭṭhāna: the direct path to realization" was now available free and legally as a PDF or epub or something.
And now I can't find that post. I think the post was created in the past few months, and I remember BlackBird replied how excellent it was to have it available.
Hmm, I've done a good search using google's internal site-search like this
site:www.dhammawheel.com search:satipattana but I couldn't find it.

Can anyone recall what it was? I'd like to have it on my kindle before I go away.
Many thanks again.
