I started doing it for weeks now. Sometimes I admit I cheat out of laziness, but honestly it's not that big of a deal to do:
-Drink water
-Get an indoor grill or wok to cook fish or chicken
-Microwave bags of minute rice or steamed vegetables (or you could boil the rice and vegetables yourself)
-Bag of salad plus salad dressing (or you could get just a bag of lettuce and add your own vegetables)
It's cheaper than TV dinners and other processed food, it's healthier, and you feel better. Can't explain it, but I think red meat does actually make you feel awful. Makes me tired and lazy, I think?
Anyway, anyone could eat this same meal every day without any need for recipes or special ingredients. If you want to, you could also add some kind of sauces or seasoning.
It's so easy to eat cheap and healthy

Beans and rice (or mashed potatoes, bread, whatever) is really awesome,.. I've been eating mostly that for the past few months,.. Still not tired of it at all. I add a lot of spice, but always the same kind,.. chili powder, cayenne pepper, pepper, salt, hot sauce, onion, garlic, and tomato sauce. Sometimes I put jalapeno sauce or something on top and I drink it with tea.
The main reason I do this is because I don't like to cook all the time, so every couple of days I make a big pot of beans and occasionally I make more rice. I'm eating almost no meat,.. I think if I had tofu on occasion I could be vegetarian easy.
It's super cheap too!
One bad thing about this though is it takes a lot of digestive power, afterward you might feel tired.
I know this is a recipe for chili, but it's basically a bean curry, you can change the spices around, add veges, whatever you want basically you can throw in the pot. One thing that is really awesome in curry or chili that might surprise you is vanilla ice cream

You could replace the salad dressing, if it is a processed one, by extra virgin olive oil and lemon juice/vinegar.

potatoes and raisins are two of the cheapest healthiest and easiest things to cook.
