A Note about Coronavirus discussions

Post by retrofuturist »

Greetings all,

Given recent concerns about the Coronavirus, it's understandable that people will wish to discuss it, but at the same time it's important to remember that first and foremost, this is a Buddhist forum about the Dhamma of Theravāda Buddhism.

As such, if you wish to explore How is the coronavirus affecting your Dhamma practice? we have a topic for that. Also, we have a topic to discuss the Coronavirus from a Wellbeing, Diet and Fitness perspective. In the interests of maintaining this forum's focus, these are the only two topics that will be permitted on this forum, and off-topic content is liable to be removed or merged.

If you wish to discuss the Coronavirus more broadly with fellow Buddhists in a less restricted way, we strongly recommend doing so at Dharma Wheel Engaged, where there is a topic dedicated to the Corona virus outbreak and the opportunity to create additional topics, as need has it.

Take care everyone, and if you think amendments to this approach are required, please PM me and/or DNS explaining your reasoning.

:thanks:

Metta,
Paul. :)
