Thanks so much David for your contribution to our community!

Much equanimity was required in me watching you in Vegas decked out in our Oakland Raiders gear!

Happy birthday to all who contribute to this amazing site, and deep gratitude to David for the vision and all the hard work over the last decade.

(I was really glad that you decided to stop the stretching when you did. But when we make it to 20 years, we expect to see the full 360 degrees...)

Happy anniversary to Dhammawheel and happy birthday to you David! Love the Raiders gear! Raider Nation!

:namaste:
The heart of the path is so simple. No need for long explanations. Give up clinging to love and hate, just rest with things as they are. That is all I do in my own practice.

Do not try to become anything. Do not make yourself into anything. Do not be a meditator. Do not become enlightened. When you sit, let it be. When you walk, let it be. Grasp at nothing. Resist nothing.

Of course, there are dozens of meditation techniques to develop samadhi and many kinds of vipassana. But it all comes back to this-just let it all be. Step over here where it is cool, out of the battle.

Happy birthday and happy anniversary!

I see you're sporting Raiders swag already. Oakland won't be the same without the Raiders, but I guess Vegas deserves a team. It's a great place for sports I'd think. Watch the Raiders win a Superbowl once they move from Oakland...

Only a little more than a year till Raiders come to Vegas. The new stadium is about half done, here's a live feed:
https://www.raiders.com/lasvegas/live-stadium-camera

Yeah, it's amazing how often some teams move around. Raiders could be the first team (that I know of) to win a Super Bowl (American football championship) while being in 3 different cities, if they win some time in the future in Vegas. They have already won 2 in Oakland and 1 in Los Angeles.

Thanks again to everyone! And to all the moderators who have worked tirelessly as un-paid volunteers, past, present, and future!

Only 59,000 more posts till we hit the big one million posts mark (from all DW forums).
