It seems I can only access the Pali via Sujato's translations. Is there another way to access the Pali? Thanks

For example, how do we access the Pali here?: https://suttacentral.net/sn56-pancagatipeyyalavagga
I think there may be a bug for that sutta.

But if you look at:
https://suttacentral.net/mn
you can click on the Mahāsaṅgīti label to get the Pali. It's not very clear, because that looks like another translation...

The new patches seem to have fixed the problem with old links!

I have not tested it thoroughly but the ones I tried are fine.

Still, as of 16 Mar, no go via Safari.

Yes, they are using some rather new technology, so some browsers do have problems. I have no difficulty with Chrome or Firefox on Linux and Chrome on Windows, and I presume other browsers will catch up in time. Are you using an old version of Safari? Have you reported the problem?

There is some discussion here: https://discourse.suttacentral.net/t/re ... g/8605/139

I was very happy that they fixed the link problem, otherwise thousands of posts on this Forum would have been to bad links...

They seem to have solved this now. Try again.

Many suttas remain inaccessible to Pali. Hopefully I am not sounding too demanding but is this going to be resolved? Previously, every sutta was accessible to Pali. Thanks
There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

It's not my project, so it doesn't matter whether you are demanding or not...

The explanation for the lack of Pali for some of the suttas is here:

Sujato wrote: 8. Not all of my new translations are ready. We should have the draft version of the full four nikayas in a week or two, and the fully proofed version in a couple of months. If you want to use these texts for some purpose I would recommend waiting until then.

9. For the four nikayas, the Pali texts are linked to my new translations, so where the translations are absent the Pali texts are too. As above, they’ll be there in a week or two.
That post was almost two weeks ago. I'm not sure how fast the progress is in uploading the last translations, but I presume they are working as fast as possible.

The old site can still be accessed if you want the missing Pali:

The new site now has all of the Pali, and all of Ven Sujato's translations of the first four Nikayas on line:

https://discourse.suttacentral.net/t/ne ... aded/9366/

This means that by setting the appropriate options you can see line-by-line Pali with English translation for all four Nikayas, and Pali dictionary lookup by hovering over the Pali words.

Happy reading!

I wonder if there will be a function to download the content of the entire website in pdf format. If not, then it would be great to see this function available in the future. So far I know some sections of the Pali canon are available for download.
