Our webmaster fixed the email notification system. Be sure you have the email in the DW system that you currently use to receive your emails. And then when you subscribe to sub-forums, you should receive an email notifying you of that, even when you are not logged-in here.
You can also set your notifications on for when you receive a PM here at DW.
The subscribe button is at the bottom of the page of a sub-forum.
The emails might show up (probably will) in your spam folder, so be sure to check your spam folder for notifications from DW, if interested.
To change your notification settings here:
User control panel > Board preferences > Email notifications
and then click the notifications buttons you want and the email notifications you want.
To change your email:
User control panel > Profile > Edit account settings
