"Modern Interpretations" and "Connections to Other Paths"

Post by retrofuturist »

Greetings all,

The Fringe Theravada section has been renamed Connections to Other Paths in order to clarify the purpose of this section, which is to provide a place to explore how other paths relate to our own, and to consider what opportunities there are for us to learn from the wisdom of other spiritual traditions and philosophies.

Secondly, the Phenomenological Dhamma section has been renamed Modern Interpretations. This section remains inclusive of phenomenological approaches to the Dhamma, but now also provides a place to discuss any modern Theravada interpretation of the Buddha's teaching, which may potentially deviate from the traditional orthodox perspectives handed down to us via the Pali commentaries.

It is the hope of the Dhamma Wheel team that these two name changes will help make it easier for you to determine the best area in which to initiate discussions that may be of interest to you. If you have any questions about these changes, please let us know.

Thank you.

Metta,
Paul. :)
