Unworldy well being

Post by befriend » Mon Sep 09, 2019 1:34 pm

I've noticed it's unsettling for me to experience impermanence because my mind thinks well if everything is impermanent how can I be happy? Before I have a solid insight practice should I first find happiness/well being inside from practicing Dhamma?
Take care of mindfulness and mindfulness will take care of you.

It varies, but often it's a good idea. Or at least, a measure of stability, psychological well-being and groundedness.

Sometimes though, a sense of deep unease, like the one you're describing, can be great fuel for practice.
