What is the exact difference between cessation of perception and feelings (saññāvedayitanirodhaṃ) and non-Buddhist asaññā samādhi (which can lead to asaññasatta loka where Dhamma progress is impossible thus we need to avoid it)? Both don't have any saññā and by extension no vedanā or viññāṇa.
"Feeling, perception, & consciousness are conjoined, friend, not disjoined. It is not possible, having separated them one from another, to delineate the difference among them. For what one feels, that one perceives. What one perceives, that one cognizes.
