New Jhana Book
Re: New Jhana Book
Excellent! Thank you Kamran.
“No lists of things to be done. The day providential to itself. The hour. There is no later. This is later. All things of grace and beauty such that one holds them to one's heart have a common provenance in pain. Their birth in grief and ashes.”
- Cormac McCarthy, The Road
Learn this from the waters:
in mountain clefts and chasms,
loud gush the streamlets,
but great rivers flow silently.

Re: New Jhana Book
The book is actually available now directly through Shambhala. I received it last week. It's excellent. Practical and clear. If you have sat with Leigh, this is an excellent synopsis of what he teaches in his retreats.
Re: New Jhana Book
I don't know how you got the book, since every website—including Leigh Brasington's and Shambhala Publications—says it is available on the 13th of October.Namkha wrote:The book is actually available now directly through Shambhala. If you go directly to Shambhala's page for the book: http://www.shambhala.com/right-concentration.html you will find that you are able to order it directly from them now. At least this is the case in the United States.
Re: New Jhana Book
Will this book be available in electronic format?
Re: New Jhana Book
I'm on Leigh's mailing list for the book and received the following this morning that addresses your ebook question:ftw wrote:Will this book be available in electronic format?
Dear Friends,
Right Concentration is now available directly from Shambhala:
http://www.shambhala.com/right-concentration.html
It will still be over a month before pre-orders ship from Amazon and Barnes & Noble - the official release date is still 13 October '15.
And the ebook version is still going to be a few more months after that - probably. I'll let everyone know when it's available.
Metta,
Leigh
