'A sophisticated teaching of factor reduction'

Postby manas » Mon Jul 01, 2013 12:02 am

Hi members and guests,

I find this video very helpful in informing how I regard jhana. I like it how Ajahn Kukrit describes it as 'a sophisticated teaching of factor reduction':

phpBB [video]

Then the Blessed One, picking up a tiny bit of dust with the tip of his fingernail, said to the monk, "There isn't even this much form...feeling...
perception...fabrications...consciousness that is constant, lasting, eternal, not subject to change, that will stay just as it is as long as eternity."
