For monks as students see 01:33:

A moderately famous Malaysian monk, who I met in Hong Kong, and whose name unfortunately escapes me right now, told me that he did practice Goenka style for some time, but since he could not find a monastic community where it was taught it at that time he switched to a Mahasi-based approach, and eventually to his own, more "choiceless", style.
One of my monastic teachers, who had tried out a number of approaches, encouraged body-scanning as a preparatory practice, and under some conditions when certain problems arose.

I saw two Cambodian monks at a 10 day course earlier this year. Saw a few Vietnamese ones at my first sit in 2009 as well. They usually sit on a Dais, much like the ATs do. I'm not sure if it had anything to do with it, but during the course where I sat with the two Cambodian monks, I entered some sort of Jhana-like state for 4-5 days straight.

I have witnessed many Buddhist monks and nuns from Theravada and Mahayana traditions participating on courses as students. I also know of one monk who was an assistant teacher who went on to establish a monastery in Myanmar devoted to Goenkaji's meditation practice. You might be interested to know that the land for the two meditation centres in Mandalay were dana by the Bhikkhu Sangha.

Kahagolla Monastery is a monastery of Galduwa Tradition and situated around 3 km away from Diyatalawa town, Diyatalawa, Sri Lanka. The average temperature in Diyatalawa is around 16°C.
There are around 10 Theravadin Monks (including local monks and some foreign monks from India and Vietnam). They practise Vinaya quite strictly. And most of them also practise Vipassana Mediation as taught by S.N. Goenka.
The monastery is preferred and willing to assist old students of Vipassana Meditation as taught by S.N. Goenka. Old students who are serious in Vipassana Meditation may stay in the monastery and go to Dhamma Sobha (Near Colombo), Dhamma Kuta (Kandy), Dhamma Anuradha (Anuradhapura) Vipassana meditation centers for meditation.

Just to bump this up and inform that the monastery now has 22 kutis for monks . Plans for the future are to expand its capacity to 100 persons so that it can also serve as a center for Goenka retreats.

Most Venerable Ratanapala Mahathero
Who is Bhante Ratanapala Thero? He is the senior most Bhikkhu Teacher in our tradition (Sayaji U Ba Khin’s as taught by S. N. Goenka Ji’s), a Bhikkhu for almost 60 years or so. He has been referred to admiringly by Guruji in many instances. He also came to the Aranya for a day to inaugurate the construction of the Bhikkhu Aranya in May 2016. (About Vipassana Aranya https://thali.dhamma.org/chaksu/) he lives in Sri Lanka but traveled worldwide conducting Vipassana courses.
Bhante is also mentioned here : https://www.vridhamma.org/node/2400
I had the good fortune to meet Bhante, spend time with him and also visited Nauyana Monastery at Srilanka with the Most Venerable ...pls find the photos in below link
