Post by LuisR »

There is a Theravada Monastery in Mexico. Does anyone know of any others in Latin America?

I recall hearing a few accounts of goings on in South America. I'll poke around.

I met two of the lay representatives from Mexico at the UN Vesak Day conference in Bangkok last month. Really nice guys. They seemed really genuine.

tesaṃca yo nirodho - evaṁvādī mahāsamaṇo.

Of those phenomena which arise from causes:
Those causes have been taught by the Tathāgata,
And their cessation too - thus proclaims the Great Ascetic.
