Many suttas remain inaccessible to Pali. Hopefully I am not sounding too demanding but is this going to be resolved? Previously, every sutta was accessible to Pali. Thanks
There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.

It's not my project, so it doesn't matter whether you are demanding or not...

The explanation for the lack of Pali for some of the suttas is here:

9. For the four nikayas, the Pali texts are linked to my new translations, so where the translations are absent the Pali texts are too. As above, they’ll be there in a week or two.
That post was almost two weeks ago. I'm not sure how fast the progress is in uploading the last translations, but I presume they are working as fast as possible.

The old site can still be accessed if you want the missing Pali:

The new site now has all of the Pali, and all of Ven Sujato's translations of the first four Nikayas on line:

https://discourse.suttacentral.net/t/ne ... aded/9366/

This means that by setting the appropriate options you can see line-by-line Pali with English translation for all four Nikayas, and Pali dictionary lookup by hovering over the Pali words.

Happy reading!

I wonder if there will be a function to download the content of the entire website in pdf format. If not, then it would be great to see this function available in the future. So far I know some sections of the Pali canon are available for download.

So, just an FYI, there is a forum dedicated to SuttaCentral.net where these kinds of questions should be directed. It's almost like speaking about someone in the third person when they are in the room. :-) The people you need to talk to are only a browser tab away.

In view of the above post, and the fact that the new version of SC has been open for some time now, this thread will be locked. If there is a need for a new DW thread on SC, then people are of course at liberty to start one. :anjali:
