i was wondering if there is something abnormal or bad if you aren't pooping everyday, or even pooping every two days.
i don't feel particularly constipated but it definitely is kind of a downer when you expect a poop but don't get one
i've not really been eating like a monk either; i could follow the sixth precept well if i applied myself but i only really do so on uposatha.
not pooping everyday

Re: not pooping everyday
I am like that sometimes. I used to live with a roomate who pooped no less than 3 times per day. There is a lot of normal variation here...

Uppalavanna is not a very competent translator. The verb asuci muccati means to have a nocturnal emission, not to strew excreta.binocular wrote: ↑Sun Nov 12, 2017 8:04 am Meh. Found this the other day:

Re: not pooping everyday
The normal medical range is roughly once every three days to three times a day. However, any major change in bowel habit should be investigated if it's not simply down to a change in diet or minor infection.
