I started wearing shoes was when I went to Middle school.
Hence I always had this gut feeling that walking bare foot is good for your health.
Now I got some one with the same line of thought.
Next time when you do walking meditation does it bare foot.

As an aside -- Normally, there hard skin forms on my feet. One summer, I went for a walk barefoot almost every day, on a country road (dirt and grass) and on a gravel road. After two months, my feet were as soft as my hands, no hard skin. When I stopped the barefoot walks, I got hard skin on my feet within a couple of weeks.

Interesting findings! Also saves money because your shoes do not wear out as fast.
