Hello Dhamma community,
I was told a while ago that the morning and evening chanting done in Thai temples was created from several suttas a Thai monk put together hundreds of years ago. This would actually make sense since the chanting actually varies between temples within thailand sometimes.
This got me wondering, do non-Thai Theravada temples (sri lankan, burmese, etc.) do morning and evening chanting? and if so what are there versions like?
Appreciate the input from those with expeirence with non-Thai Buddhism.
