I agree and I don't mean to give an erroneous or irreverent view of the vinaya.
I should be more careful with my expressions.
It is unbelievably new to me people feeling so strongly about Buddhism and the Monastic community.
Probably why some of these issues have arisen.
Also. I responded openly and emotionally when defamed and discreddited as a monk.
In my opinion the better response would of been to step away from the discussion at that point.
Anyway. Lots of love. Being a new monk is wonderfully advantageous for practice, but also difficult.
