Suggestion:
It would be nice if the title for each Sutta being studied could have the English meaning included.....like it is for the Snake Simile.

Re: Suggestions, Comments and Feedback for the Study Group
Could we have a look at some of the Sutta Nipata at some stage? I have heard it referred to as a bit of a hidden gold-mine, and my wanderings through it thus far have been fruitful.

That would be good once we get through the MN. I found reading the Sn with the help of Bhikkhu Bodhi's excellent talks very illuminating:

Some discussion of the Upanisa Sutta might be interesting and useful.

Hello, I am writing an essay on the Maha-sihanada Sutta, which is shocking to my positivist instincts, and I would like to hear what other people have to say about it. I hope we can discuss it sometime soon!

Yes, it was back here:

However, I imagine that there's no problem starting a thread on any particular Sutta it in the General forum (or the Classical forum if you want a classical discussion).

Just keep breathing in and out like this. Don't be interested in anything else. It doesn't matter even if someone is standing on their head with their ass in the air. Don't pay it any attention. Just stay with the in-breath and the out-breath. Concentrate your awareness on the breath. Just keep doing it. http://www.ajahnchah.org/book/Just_Do_It_1_2.php

Hey JC, have we gone through the Digha yet?
I don't have a copy of Maurice Walshe's translation though I;m sure enough of our sutta wallahs do to make it worthwhile.
kind regards
Ben

On the title it would be helpful to have which Nikaya the sutta is from as well as the name
Re: Suggestions, Comments and Feedback for the Study Group
This site has some of the suttas that A2I doesn't, though sometimes the translations are a little rough:jcsuperstar wrote:i dont think it is all online but i'd love to if someone can find the missing suttas that a2i doesnt have
