Thanks, santa, did anyone listen to the first talk? I gather the recording will be posted in a few days.

I presume that Bhikkhu Bodhi will follow his thematic guide for the AN:
http://dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=345#p262447
http://www.wisdompubs.org/sites/default ... review.pdf

His two forays through the MN were
thematic: http://bodhimonastery.org/a-systematic- ... ikaya.html
numerical: http://www.noblepath.org/audio.html (though with MN 1 left to the end...).

I have not listened to the talk, but this first set in the series is going numerically through the chapter on ones.
"I don't envision a single thing that, when developed & cultivated, leads to such great benefit as the mind. The mind, when developed & cultivated, leads to great benefit."

"I don't envision a single thing that, when undeveloped & uncultivated, brings about such suffering & stress as the mind. The mind, when undeveloped & uncultivated, brings about suffering & stress."

Hmm, you're right, I didn't read it carefully enough:
This first series on the Anguttara will examine the entire chapter on the Ones—a short chapter that nevertheless covers many important themes in the Buddha’s teaching.

There's some great stuff in this. The first lecture covers, among other things:
AN 1.49-52. Pabhassara Sutta. Luminous. http://dhammawheel.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=26335
"Luminous, monks, is the mind. And it is defiled by incoming defilements."
"Luminous, monks, is the mind. And it is freed from incoming defilements."
See https://www.youtube.com/user/venbodhi/videos for the series and

For the first class.
