The site is up and running again now. Whatever the problem was, it has been fixed by my host.

I have added A Manual of Insight Meditation (Chapter 1 draft only).

I have done this for my own study. It uses the 1984 translation by U Min Swe so may be quite different to the new translation by Steven Armstrong published by Wisdom Books. Manual of Insight.

I have ordered my copy, so I will be able to compare them soon.

Bhante,

Browsing your website I noticed that your last addition (of your draft of the first chapter of Mahasi Sayadaw's 'Manual of Insight') actually links to the PDF of 'Practical Insight Meditation'. I do not know whether this was intentional while you reviewed your draft, but I thought I should let you know.
I would here also like to thank you for all the hard work you put into making all these books and articles available.

Thanks. I don't know when or how that got broken, but I have fixed it now.

The correct link was showing in the Index Page of Mahāsi Sayādaw's books.

Hello Bhikkhu pesala and all forumites, could you recommend me your favorite Sayadaw book, or best two or three.

Much appreciated :namaste:

I have just uploaded Dhamma Therapy Revisited, which is a collection of case histories regarding remarkable cures through vipassanā meditation.

It was compiled by the Venerable Mahāsi Sayādaw from various reports, and translated by Venerable Aggacitta Bhikkhu. I have made some minor edits and reformatted it with a Unicode font for easier copying of Pāli texts and quotations for use on forums, etc.

I have just updated A Discourse on the Anattalakkhaṇa Sutta. The changes are very minor — just typos.
