Books by Chanmyay Sayādaw U Janaka

Post by Bhikkhu Pesala »

I have now updated a couple of books by Chanmyay Sayādaw.

Vipassanā Meditation Guidelines

and

Ānāpānāssati: Samatha or Vipassanā? and Basic Instructions for Insight

Both are valuable books. It is a long time since I read the basic instructions for insight. This is a good explanation of the distinction between samatha and vipassanā.

Added the Sayādaw's Discourses on A Great Man.

That completes the set of Chanmyay Sayādaw's works that I have published.

Yes, Thank you Bhikkhu Pesala...for the links.

Due to health and geographical limitations I am unable to go to any Vipassanā retreats, so these links are the next best thing.

There are always questions coming up that I sometimes struggle to answer.
Being able to download these links will be an invaluable help, both to me and my students.

The PDF files for all three books have been updated and the links have been fixed.

Chanmyay Sayādaw is nearly 87 years of age, but only recently travelled to the UK, Ireland, and Canada to teach.
