Re: Theravadin Resource guide
Bhante, it appears that the copyright waiver applies to selected books and not the entire Tipitaka.
Re: Theravadin Resource guide
Hmm... that's true. In fact they consists of old translations only, done when Pali knowledge in the English world was relatively poor.pilgrim wrote:Bhante, it appears that the copyright waiver applies to selected books and not the entire Tipitaka.
Re: Theravadin Resource guide
Thank you so much for the links. I rediscovered this site when looking for IB Horner's translation of Majjhima Nikaya.
You might be interested in the following 2 sites:
1. Found this when searching for portable version of Pali Suttas. I used the kindle versions during the International Tipitaka Chanting at Bodhgaya last year where we chanted AN8, 9, 10 and 11. Okay, I used Wisdom Publication's Bhikkhu Bodhi's translation of AN even more. *smile*
http://readingfaithfully.org/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
2. Ven. Anandajoti offers his translation of the suttas/vinaya here http://www.ancient-buddhist-texts.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I also enjoy his discussion on Indian geography, especially the recent talk on http://dharma-documentaries.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Does anyone know where I may be able to find Lord Robert Chalmer's translation of Majjhima Nikaya in 2 Volumes?
I only found Volume 1 here: https://archive.org/details/bookofdiscipline05hornuoft" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
Thank you. WY

English translation of the Paticcasamuppada Sermons delivered by Ven. Katukurunde Nanananda Bhikku is now available http://www.dhammikaweb.com/?p=19422 (still in draft format)
Download link

For those who read the Venerable Bhikku's Nibbana Sermons (The Mind Stilled) this might be the next best thing(or better?).
My apologies if this is the wrong place to post it.

Greetings,
Thank you. These is certainly a good place to post it.
I also think it deserve its own topic to discuss it, so I will set up a topic to support that.
