(Technically part of the "Pali Canon"? -- they are in the CST4.0 collection.)

Whenever the commentators make a distinction between pāḷiyaṃ (“in the Canon") and aṭṭhakathāyaṃ (“in the Commentary”) the former denotes just the Tipiṭaka.cjmacie wrote:And most of the commentaries and sub-commentaries, I've heard.

P.S. It turned out that Niddesa is translated by Ven. Bhikkhu Bodhi, but not yet published.
