Looking for specific Sutta

Looking for specific Sutta

Hey all,

I'm looking for a specific sutta but can't seem to find it anymore.
In it, the Buddha said something along the lines that if people wouldn't have already believed in celestial beings etc, he would have not taught about them. But because people already believed in them, he taught about it.

Perhaps somebody knows which Sutta that was? Unfortunately I don't know which Nikaya it was in either.

Could be the Sangarava Sutta (MN 100); here is Piya Tan discussing this topic.
  • "And how is it, bhikkhus, that by protecting oneself one protects others? By the pursuit, development, and cultivation of the four establishments of mindfulness. It is in such a way that by protecting oneself one protects others.
