"Yoniso ca manasikāraṃ" can lead to get ENLIGHTENMENT

RIGHT UNDERSTANDING THE MEANING OF "YONISO CA MANASIKARAM" CAN LEAD TO GET ENLIGHTENMENT EASILY

Thank you for all replies about the topic : Do you know "Yoniso ca manasikāraṃ" mean?
In Vietnamese language, Bhikkhu Thich Minh Chau translated this word into Auto-self suggestion.
My master understand this meaning and use it to remind the mind an oposite way of what is thinking.
For example: If the mind is thinking about to steal something. Then we must to remind the mind the opposite way to expel the evil mind: "Stealing is bad, this evil mind must go away."
By this way of using an auto-self suggestion, my master got enlightenment more than 6 months
This method is very important. Without it we cannnot get enlightenmet. With using this method we can expel all evil thought, and the mind gradually and naturally becomes unmoveable, calm and peaceful.

Buddha said: “With using the Auto-self suggestion, unarisen fermentations do not arise, and arisen fermentations are abandoned. Without using the Auto-self suggestion, unarisen fermentations arise, and arisen fermentations increase”

In this sutras: Majjhima Nikaya 20 - Vitakkasanthana Sutta -"The Relaxation of Thoughts"
Buddha taught us 5 ways to use the Auto-self suggestion. If the first one doesnot work, use the next second, and so on.
Have you ever use this way of meaning of "Yoniso ca manasikāraṃ" to practice?

We know Buddha taught us all things in order to get enlightenment as him such as The Eightfold Path; The Four Noble Truths; Four Brahma-viharas (Highest Attitudes/Emotions); Four Foundations of Mindfulness; Seven Factors of Enlightenment, etc. We read, understand, practice and not yet get enlightenment as him. Why? The answer is our fault. We missed an important part which is the method of practicing. We have not understood all the meaning of Buddhist teaching. We missed it and we lost. When we lost we created our method for practicing. In the result, there are so many Buddhist sects and books about Buddhism around the world.
What is the method which Buddha taught us to apply in order to achieve enlightenment?
That is an Auto-self suggestion- remind the mind the opposite way of the mind is thinking to expel all desires and unwholesome thoughts.

Maybe instead of the word "wise reflection", "Appropriate attention", or "wise attention". Can we use this word "Auto-self suggestion"?
Because nobody understand the right meaning of "wise reflection", "Appropriate attention", or "wise attention". Buddha taught us concrete method, not general. So when we understand concrete method, we can start to practice. If not understand the right meaning of buddhist teaching, we lost. We lost more than 2500 years since Buddha died.
If you are the person who has a voice in Buddhist association. Please clarify this topic.
Thanks for your time and patience.

If you like "auto-self suggestion" then you could go with that and if that how it best translates to Vietnamese for you. Personally, I prefer "wise reflection" or "reflecting appropriately" since I don't need any more references to self than I already have.

I think we can combine the meaning of "Wise reflection' or "reflect appropriately"and the method Auto self suggestion.
Why? how do we reflect wisely or appropriately? We need a method.

We use this method to remind the mind. It looks like we reflect wisely with the mind is thinking or wants.

If the mind is thinking bad we remind the mind an opposite way of the mind is thinking:
For example: If the mind is thinking about stealing something. We remind the mind that: “Stealing is bad, this evil mind must go away”

If we want to develop wholesome deed. We will use this method to remind the mind.
For example: If we want to develop a loving kindness. We would remind the mind “Should love all sentient beings, do not eat any meat, eat vegetarian. Because all beings like to live and be afraid of death. We also are afraid of death, so why we support our life by others beings life”

Not all Buddhists feel that vegetarianism is needed to practice the First Precept.
