I’m having trouble translating “atthī’ti”. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Ceisiwr,

atthi means "is", "exists", or "is found to be", etc.

Putting a macron over the i to make it ī and adding ti just means that it comes at the end of a quote.

Ven. Sujato comments on 'atthi' here.
There is always an official executioner. If you try to take his place, It is like trying to be a master carpenter and cutting wood. If you try to cut wood like a master carpenter, you will only hurt your hand.
