Could anyone in the know shed some light on how much has been done and when the project will be finished ?
I mean the up-to-date information, I've read papers about it.

Re: DhammakAya TipiTaka edition
Hello shairos,
Im not sure about this either. I actually thought they cancelled the project due to people accusing them of somehow trying to change the Tripitaka. Ill ask around and try to get back to you. I think they did finish the complete tripitaka, but only the Pali, not the translations. I do have a pdf copy of the complete Sutta Pitaka compiled by Dhammakaya. But I am unable to upload because the file is too large (like 28 mbs). But here is what they have for the Vinaya Pitaka. (again all in Pali)
If the admins have any ideas on how i can upload the Sutta Pitaka part let me know. as it is too big to put on this post.

These say copyright 2015 so I'm pretty sure these are what are being discussed here about critical edition being published in 2015.

I believe these same PDFs are available for free online somewhere already. Im just not sure where.

Oops. I meant to make the link public so I wouldn't have to approve every request. Let me change that when I get home

I checked the Drive settings and it appears to allow anyone with the link to view. Can somebody confirm that they are able to view the files without requesting access?

Re: DhammakAya TipiTaka edition
No. That was in 1993. This was the one the OP was talking about that was published in 2015. The 1993 incident was likely why they had to do the recent project where ppl were falsely saying they were gonna change "anatta" to "atta".Assaji wrote: ↑Sun Aug 30, 2020 9:27 amThis isn't the Dhammakaya Tipiṭaka edition, - this is old Pāli Text Society edition:TRobinson465 wrote: ↑Wed Aug 01, 2018 5:02 am Sutta Pitaka

If you check any of the other links I put on this thread you would find strong evidence that these are the ones the OP inquired about. The pali text society is only credited because they provided the manuscripts the scholars used for the 2015 dhammachai (this is the official name) version.

Re: DhammakAya TipiTaka edition
Actually upon further inspection, I think your right that the pdfs provided isnt the critical edition in question. As they do not seem to match the format on the website. (although in my defense i didnt initially claim they were when i provided them).
http://dhammachaitipitaka.org/technolog ... ation.html
From what i understand they are using that version to help with the critical version though. so my statement on the finding and replacing still stands.
