Hello,
I am looking for a detailed explanation of the Pali in the Three Refuges and the Five Precepts. The level of detail I have in mind is that found in this explanation of the Patimokkha: http://www.bps.lk/olib/mi/pali_studies/ ... mokkha.pdf. The closest I have found is here: http://chantpali.org/refuges_precepts.html. I'm just a layperson looking to fully understand something meaningful to chant.
By the way, this is my first post here. Sorry if I did anything wrong.
Detailed explanation of the Three Refuges and the Five Precepts?

See khuddakapātha's commentary:
-Saraṇattayavaṇṇanā
-Sikkhāpadavaṇṇanā
In advance, you can see sīlaniddesa [Part I—Virtue (Sìla)], buddhānussatikatha, dhammānussatikatha, and saṅghānussatikatha [CH. VII SIX RECOLLECTIONS] in the path of purification.
