Translation of a term from English to Pali

Post by Mahanath » Wed May 16, 2012 7:49 pm

Hello everyone,
A friend and I are going to launch a blog about Buddhism and Schopenhauer and we are thinking of naming the blog under a pali term. We want to use the term "eye of the storm". I was wondering if anyone here could provide us with the translation to pali of the term, or a term that coveys a similar idea.
Thank you very much,

Hello Mahanath,

I can't think of an exact term, but maybe a browse of this dictionary may be of assistance:

English-Pali Dictionary by Metta Net, Sri Lanka" onclick=";return false;

with metta
---The trouble is that you think you have time---
---Worry is the Interest, paid in advance, on a debt you may never owe---
---It's not what happens to you in life that is important ~ it's what you do with it ---

Dear Dhammawheel Sangha,
after surfing, as a amateur student of pali i would like highly suggest this two: - by far the most complete with references to suttas - online english pali or pali english.Most everything is there. With combination of Concise pali dictionary.pdf - download on the net,basically you have quite the complete resources togheter of the whole pali words.
Have a good use of it
with great Metta
