Anyone have information on this translator? https://www.amazon.com/Digha-Nikaya-J-C ... gha+nikaya
I couldn't find anything using google but its a great price comparatively and it seems rather difficult to find a full DN outside of Walshe
if anyone has comments on walshe, share them here too. His I guess are what suttacentral primarily uses

Re: JE Carpenter, digha nikaya
He was a Unitarian minister and Sanskrit scholar. He assisted Thomas Rhys Davids with the editing of the romanised Pali editions of the Dīgha Nikāya and its commentary, but I don't think he translated any Pali texts.

The other Dīgha Nikāya translations beside Walshe's are those of Th. Rhys Davids and the Burmese Sāsanā Piṭaka Association.
