Which sutta

Does anyone know which sutta says if one does wholesome bodily verbal and mental actions negative states decrease I've read it in the anguttara nikaya or majjhima nikaya thanks

That was enlightening thanks, but not the sutta I'm looking for the one I can't find is shorter and pretty much just says by doing good bodily verbal and mental acts unskillful qualities decline. Thanks for looking for me.

Also pl. see verse 183 dammapada:
sabba paoassa akaranan
kusalassa upasampada
sacitta pariyo dapanan
etan buddana sasanan.
