Feeding on rapture
Feeding on rapture
We who have nothing we will feed on rapture like the radiant gods" paraphrase does anyone know what sutta this is from?

Re: Feeding on rapture
Dhammapada, Chap. 15 "Happiness", v. 200.
Due to the nature of 'piti' (rapture) as a change in the mode of energy from striving to initial attainment, it always implies that effort has previously been applied.

Re: Feeding on rapture
"Feeding on rapture" pītibhakkha by itself is also found in three of the Dīgha Nikāya suttas: the Brahmajāla, Pāthika, and Aggañña.
Rūpehi bhikkhave arūpā santatarā.
Arūpehi nirodho santataro ti.
“Bhikkhus, the formless is more peaceful than the form realms.
Cessation is more peaceful than the formless realms.”
(Santatarasutta, Iti 73)
